To enter the link address, in the Address field, type:

www.fema.gov/

Notice that as you type, FrontPage adds  http://  to the beginning of the 

URL.

To create the link,

You see the link, which is blue and underlined. 

Creating Relative Links

Now we want to create a link to the existing 

info.htm

 and also a link to 

dogs.htm

, a page that we will create later in the 

SAR

 Web site. Since all three 

Web pages are going to be located within the same Site, the links will be 

relative

. This means that only the filename is specified because the full path is 

implied by the current document. The link will remain the same as long as the 

pages are kept in the same Site. 

First let's select the text to link to 

info.htm

.

To select the text to link, in the second cell of the second row,

This time let's insert the link from the Standard toolbar button.

To access the Hyperlink options, on the Standard toolbar,

The Insert Hyperlink dialog box opens.

Instead of entering a URL in the Address field, we'll select the existing file 

from the 

SAR

 Site.
