Working with an Image
Web pages often include different types of images. An image can function as a 
link or simply add visual appeal. There are several types of Web graphic file 
formats, but the most common are JPEG, GIF, and PNG. 
JPEG
 is the pre 
ferred format for photographs while 
GIF
 is well suited for line art or images 
with large areas of colors. 
PNG
 is an advanced file format which uses a 
license free method of compressing images. Image compression is important 
because it affects the overall file size of a Web page. The smaller the overall 
file size, the quicker the page will download.
We'll insert a 
GIF
 into the table and see how to accommodate the image for 
users with disabilities. Then we'll alter the table foreground and background 
colors to match the image we insert.
Inserting a Picture
Let's insert a logo in the first row of the table. We'll use a logo for our team 
from the 
SAR
 folder.
1.
Position the cursor in the first row of the table.
2.
To begin inserting a picture, on the Menu bar,
  Insert,   Picture,   From File...
You see the 
Picture
 dialog box:
