Organize 

Create the work plan 

The work plan is a document that shows how work on the site should proceed. To create 

it, the Site Coordinator first meets with the other members of the Web team so everyone 

can reach agreement on their tasks. 

Finalize roles and responsibilities 

The Site Coordinator checks with the members of the Web team to make sure that the 

team members are comfortable with their roles in site construction. Usually the members 

of a Web team will perform the following tasks: 

Editor 

Writes and edits the site s text content.  

 Graphic Designer 

Provides design templates and original graphics.  

Site Builders 

Take text and templates and build the site s pages.  

Technician 

Integrates forms and other interactive elements with programs on the server.  

Site Coordinator 

Keeps work on track, checking to see if things are done right and on schedule.
