A. Community Foundations Snapshot 

Staffing Ratio   Total Staff: IT Staff (n = 41) 

Community foundations were fairly evenly divided regarding technology adoption, with 

29 percent describing themselves as leading edge (early adopters), 44 percent as fast 

followers and 26 percent as lagging behind (Table A 3). Regarding technology planning, 

only 20 percent of community foundations reported having a technology plan (Table 

A 4).
