Similar to the very large foundations, large foundations tend to be leading edge (early 

adopters) or fast followers regarding technology, with 79 percent of foundations in those 

categories (Table A 3). Regarding technology planning, most (78%) large foundations do 

not have an up to date technology plan (Table A 4).
