One third of the large foundations reported having at least one part time in house 

technology professional while two thirds reported not having any in house technology 

staff. Of the one third reporting staff, half have a part time IT person. Among those with 

IT staff, nearly three quarters have a ratio of total staff to IT staff of 15 or fewer to 1 

(72%).
