Uninstalling Pearl Echo 

The Pearl Echo Service authenticates Pearl Echo Workstation uninstall 

requests. The Pearl Echo Service must be running to securely uninstall 

workstation components. 

To Uninstall Pearl Echo Workstation Software 

1.  From the workstation taskbar, click on Start and select Settings. 

2.  Select Control Panel. 

3.  Open the Add/Remove Programs applet. 

4.  From the Install/Uninstall tab, click on ec70ws. 

5.  Click the Add/Remove button. 

6.  Enter your Pearl Echo password and follow the instructions as they appear 

on the screen.  

To Uninstall Pearl Echo Server Software 

1.  Run Pearl Echo. 

2.  From the Security Menu, select Set Security Status. 

3.  Turn the Pearl Echo Service OFF and exit Pearl Echo. 

4.  Select Control Panel. 

5.  Open the Add/Remove Programs applet. 

6.  From the Install/Uninstall tab, click on EC7.0. 

7.  Click the Add/Remove button. 

Pearl Echo will log successful and unsuccessful attempts at uninstalling the 

Pearl Echo Workstation software.  Pearl Echo will also log when the 

Workstation's network configuration has been altered.
