1.  Make sure only Windows is running; close all other applications 
especially disk utilities and virus protection software.

5.  When prompted, enter the Pearl Echo  Server  IP  address  or  Fully 
Exchange Server. 
Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) and the Port number you assigned when 
installing the Pearl Echo Server software.

If the machine will roam outside of your private network, enter the 
Public IP or FQDN of your Pearl Echo Server.  Otherwise, leave the Public 
IP or FQDN blank.

Select an Open or Closed configuration.   
8.  The workstation will perform a test communication with the Pearl Echo 
Service and will display the results. If a link is successfully established, 
your Echo workstation installation is complete.  
Tip #1: You can automate the Echo Workstation deployment using the 
Windows Installer Service files provided with your installation media.  
Tip #2: If your users roam outside of your private network, you will need to 
enable the Pearl Echo Workstation agent to make a connection through your 
network firewall.   
Tip #3: You can install the Pearl Echo Workstation software on Exchange 
Server to monitor Microsoft Exchange E mail.  When installing the Pearl Echo 
Workstation software on Exchange Server, select  Options  and  This Machine 
is an Exchange Server .
